Kevin Walters has delivered a hilarious response to his son Billy’s staunch defence of the Broncos coach ahead of the club’s must-win clash against the Eels on Friday night.who have questioned whether Kevin is the right man for the job amid an extremely underwhelming 2024 campaign from the Broncos.
“It’s pretty red hot from a few, I suppose, fake fans to say Kevvie’s not the right man for the job,” Billy Walters told reporters on Tuesday.every game of every round this NRL Telstra Premiership Season LIVE with no ad-breaks during play on Kayo. “There’s more people though that do like the Broncos and that’s what I get excited about, for our fans and the way their continual support has been amazing this year. “We’ve got more members and more fans than any other club, so obviously on the flip side of that there’s probably a lot of people out there that don’t enjoy watching the Broncos play.”They’ll need to win their remaining three games and hope other results fall their way though.“All we can control is what we can do and we just need to play well,” Walters said.
Following Friday night’s game against the Eels, the Broncos face the Dolphins and Storm to finish off the regular season.
