Today, America Ferrera and Danai Gurira announced the film and TV nominees for the 26th annual SAG Awards, which will air on January 19, 2020. Awarded by SAG-AFTRA, the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, the ceremony honours the best acting performances of the year—with categories for individual actors as well as ensemble casts.
The SAG nominations are typically an indication of what to expect from the acting categories at the Oscars because there is overlap between the Screen Actors Guild and the Academy’s acting branch.
