The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is now red-hot, yet the RWD loses some range.
Mechanically, the Lyriq goes unchanged, though it suffers a minor reduction in GM's estimated range for the rear-wheel and all-wheel drive models. The rear-wheel drive Lyriq drops from an EPA-estimated 312 miles from the EPA to now register 308 GM-estimated miles of range; the all-wheel drive model gets a GM-estimated 307 miles of range now.
The luxury model builds on Tech with illuminated door handles, cornering lights on the nose with choreographed lighting, rear spoiler LED light bar, Rainsense wipers, a PaperWood interior decor with 26-color interior lighting, and standard heated wheel and front seats, with optional ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. Other options on the Luxury trim include an improved at-home charging rate bumping up from the Tech's 11.5 kW to 19.
Across the board, there are more colors available on each trim, now including a full lineup of Argent silver metallic, Opulent blue metallic, Crystal white tricoat, Stellar black metallic, Radiant red, Celestial metallic, Nimbus metallic, and the interesting Emerald Lake metallic green-teal. We have to say, it looks good in red.
