Bob Teoh, the 28-year-old son of reclusive billionaire telco founder David Teoh, looks to have joined the ranks of Sydney’s first home buyers.

Michael has paid about $2.6 million for an apartment in the Palazzina Nebbiosi in Rome. It is a landmark block of apartments designed by late architect Giuseppe Capponi and built in 1932 by renowned engineer Pier Luigi Nervi. The purchase – said to be for the use of visiting family and friends – comes as Michael returns his grand Potts Point terrace to the market with a $10 million guide through RaineThis is the four-bedroom residence that was for more than four decades the home of Michael and his late partner, acclaimed jeweller Tony White. It housed much of the couple’s extraordinary private art collection.
