Is it even spooky season without another edition of “Treehouse Of Horror” from The Simpsons? The twisted geniuses behind one of TV’s longest running shows annually give us a brand new anthology of hilariously terrifying tales, and it doesn’t matter if you stopped watching the show five, 10, or 20 seasons ago, you can always tune into for a laugh, a fright, or both.
“The Pookadook” Treehouse Of Horror XXXIII Based on: The Babadook Marge is the star of this parody, taking on the role of the mom from The Babadook. She’s the perfect target for the creature, renamed “The Pookadook,” which takes a form similar to the original and is also tied to a cursed pop-up book. The creature feeds on her resentment toward her family. Once possessed, she sends Homer, Bart, and Lisa to “sleep with the fishes” and goes after Maggie.
