House hunters could score the keys to a multimillion-dollar mansion in Perth ’s southern suburbs on the cheap, with the owner preparing to offload the “dilapidated” construction that has never been lived in at auction later this month. The abode, which includes a family home and guest house, features “classical Chinese architecture” on two parcels of land in Banjup. It was built from the ground up between 2014 and 2017 on the back of dreams it would be a multi-generational home.
“We’re also anticipating strong interest in the culturally unique and architecturally significant buildings on the land. “While somewhat dilapidated, this Chinese-style mansion is majestic, apparently costing the owner tens of millions of dollars.” The property features large bedrooms with ensuites, living areas, multiple kitchens, private dining rooms, several study areas, a library, multiple large conference halls, a multi-functional theatre, a museum, and a main event hall.
