Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the “big question” for him about Peter Dutton’s plan to fast-track nuclear-powered submarines was whether Scott Morrison stopped him from talking about it during the election campaign.
“He kept alluding to this before the campaign during the campaign, ‘we might have something to say soon about getting submarines up and running – nuclear
submarines – in Australia quicker’,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.“It seems very peculiar when they’re running for election they wouldn’t mention this.”
