Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says people should “have a great deal of confidence” about the “resilience and the fundamentals” of the Australian economy.
“We did outperform the rest of the world over the course of the last year,” Mr Frydenberg told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“We have seen our economy become bigger today than it was going into the pandemic.“No other advanced economy has that track record.”
