Aberdeen icon Willie Miller has named the major "disappointment" for the Dons after Connor Barron 's Pittodrie exit.
But the figures are not what have left Miller disappointed - insisting that his lack of regular first-team minutes will be what stings for the Don's after the club confirmed the Scotland U21 cap has not extended his contract. Writing for the Press and Journal, Miller said: "It is hugely disappointing that Pittodrie youth academy graduate Barron has decided to leave Aberdeen.
"The disappointment is that Aberdeen have not had Barron in the first team for a long period. Barron has every right to do what he wants with his career – although I would have liked to have seen him stay longer at Aberdeen.
