Some viewers of The Bay on ITV1 on Wednesday night were doing double-takes after spotting an ‘unrecognisable’ former Emmerdale star who has clearly undergone an incredible transformation.
But it was an actor playing a bit-part in the show which got many talking on Wednesday evening. Lots of people wanted to know where they’d seen the actor playing the sinister Len Reid before.Well, for those wondering, we can answer that quandary for you. Len is played by Robert Beck who has made many appearances in some of our best-loved soap operas.
In December 1999, Gavin and Bernice split up after she and Tricia caught Gavin and Tricia's boyfriend Jason Kirk kissing. Bernice trashed his stuff, said she still loved Gavin but felt she could not give him another chance because her ex-husband Anthony Binns was also gay.He played Fergus Collins in Hollyoaks and Peter Harrison in Brookside. Robert also enjoyed a small part in Coronation Street as Jimmy Dockerson - he’s actually married to Corrie star Jane Danson.
