Those at risk will be recommended to take a rapid antigen test and consult their GP about getting a referral for a PCR test. "There is no public health requirement or recommendation for low-risk individuals to seek PCR testing." PCR testing will remain free, with the government agreeing to extend its funding for state-run testing sites.
