The BBC has brought together a group of British boys to see if they have what it takes to make it in the K-pop world - but are they cut out for the fame?
Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience is a unique musical experiment - can a band of Brits, assembled by the BBC, make it on the global stage under the guidance of one of the industry's biggest names?
Blaise Noon, 19, London Brit Blaise was born in Belgium and relocated to the UK at the age of 14 to study Musical Theatre at the renowned BRIT School in Croydon, spending his weekends dancing at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. After leaving the BRIT School, Blaise secured a spot to train at the highly respected Urdang Academy, specialising in dance and musical theatre, where he trained in a wide variety of styles.
With a DJ dad, music has always been in Greenwood's blood, and he's had his heart set on being in a boyband since he was a tot. "I learnt how to deal with performance days, training and things like that. I always do my best, but I think it's just a bit more planning and thinking ahead. It's definitely not easy, but it can be done."
For Sharp, performing has always been a form of expression. "I'm from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and we're a bit in the middle of nowhere farms, cows, sheep are who we perform to! There's not much going on, but me and my twin brother have always loved creating things and have been obsessed with making videos and dancing and we just couldn't stop moving," he shared.
His early bird routine kicked off at 6 am for training, which prepped him for the rigorous demands of musical theatre. Sedbergh School in Cumbria then became his alma mater after bagging the coveted Roger Lupton Scholarship, an opportunity that only comes around once a year for one lucky student.
