There’s a dark side to the abilities Compound V brings, but the worst has to be the ‘power’ possessed by Mother’s Milk’s daughter, Janine.

The extremely dire world of The Boys' has one power that threatens the life of its possessor. Mother's Milk daughter Janine's special ability reveals one power brought on by Compound V that actively harms its owner.

The Boys is a superhero world quite unconventional from the universes most comic book fans are familiar with. Though it's populated by heroes modeled after some of the most iconic heroes, the truth is that the heroes are far from the noble beings fans may think. Not only that, but the heroes of the world all share the same source of power. The Boys' supes all get powers from a drug known as Compound V.

Mother’s Milk and his family have suffered greatly as a result of Compound V. In addition to the Boys' member needing a regular supply of his mother’s breast milk to survive, his mother was mutated as a result of her exposure to Compound V. Not to mention, Mother’s Milk’s brother was killed as a result of his powers manifesting themselves. Janine’s rapid aging continues the unfortunate family tradition of Compound V radically altering people’s lives for the worse.

Mother's Milk's Entire Family Was Destroyed by Vought-American Mother’s Milk already had to deal with the loss of a sibling and a mother due to The Boys’ Vought-American and their Compound V. But Janine is someone Mother’s Milk had a hand in bringing into the world. And because of the drugs in his system, he carries the guilt for her rapid aging. It’s very likely that Janine isn’t going to live long, and that hurts her father more than what happened to his brother and mother.
