ANALYSIS: The Brexit election is the Grinch of Christmas for UK voters
Despite the polls showing a majority win for Boris Johnson, another hung parliament remains a possibility for him too.As Prime Minister, Mr Johnson would be given the first chance to try to form an alliance with one of the minor parties, as Mrs May was forced to do after losing the Conservatives' majority in 2017.
Then the Conservatives relied on the Democratic Unionist Party to deliver the numbers it needed to form government, but this time that can't be guaranteed with the DUP expressing a deep dislike for the Brexit deal Mr Johnson has done with Europe.
