The most successful Supercars driver of all time says this year’s championship could see new teams in contention as rule changes shake up the sport.
Defending champion Scott McLaughlin, along with Triple Eight pair Shane van Gisbergen and Jamie Whincup, remain the favourites to battle it out for the title. “We might see the Tickford cars being very competitive, or the Erebus cars, we’re just going to have to wait and see. That’s what makes the sport great. You never know what’s around the corner.”
