It also enhances my natural curl so well and before I’ve even started with any other products, I can see the curl taking shape. I’ve used it in a full routine but also on its own when I’m in a rush and my hair still looks surprisingly good. It definitely left my hair feeling super smooth and soft and I loved how well the conditioner softened my hair which meant that brushing out my knots was a breeze. I loved how rejuvenating my hair felt after use and although the curls when wet may not have been as defined as after the Kerastase, they still held up fairly well on their own.
Not only does it strengthen the hair and leaves it feeling super soft but by doing so, it improves the curl too. As a pre-wash mask, sometimes I will wet my hair at night and leave it on while I sleep or if I’m working from home I’ll leave it in all day or if I am in a rush, I’ll simply pop it in for around 10 mins before washing. No matter which way I use it, it is a must in my haircare routine.
Another product on the list that I seriously loved. As mentioned above, when I used this in my hair before going into the office, I received so many compliments. Everyone at work said they were shook at how little frizz there was and how curly my hair looked. This is definitely one I will be repurchasing myself.The Ouai curl cream is a viral product from celebrity hair stylist Jet Atkin so I knew I had to try it. I was not disappointed. It is a game changer.
It can be used both pre and post wash as well as in between washes too. It left my hair feeling super smooth and looking very shiny. I used it post wash and after all my other styling products on the ends of my hair to really bring some added lustre to my locks and ensure that none of my other products would leave my hair in a hard cast.The curly girl method is designed to help people with curly and wavy hair get better results with their routines, says Maeva.
“This can strip the natural oils that protect naturally curly hair and dry out the cuticle, ultimately creating an unruly texture,” he says.Some routines suggest going without shampoo but Maeva says that too much build-up can be problematic for the scalp. Simply ensure that the shampoo is sulfate free. Maeva says, “there isn’t anything inherently wrong with sulfate, but it can be drying, which is why it’s suggested to avoid it.
