The update will be delivered to all devices, both commercial and consumer, at the same time.“The retired, out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 desktop application is scheduled to be permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update on certain versions of Windows 10 on February 14, 2023,” Microsoft said.Microsoft has announced the date when Internet Explorer will permanently disappear from computers.
Microsoft warned businesses still using Internet Explorer to make the switch to Microsoft Edge before 14 February to avoid any technical disruptions. Support for the application by Microsoft 10 was pulled in June 2022, signalling the official retirement of the once industry-leading browser which launched in 1995.
