The royal couple called the nation to 'lift someone out of loneliness' in support of Mental Health Awareness Week
The broadcast was played on every radio station in the UK at 11am to honour the 2022 Mental Health Minute, where the Duke & Duchess encouraged the nation to support those around them who might be experiencing loneliness with acts as simple as sending them a text or inviting them for a cup of tea.
"So if you think someone you know may be feeling lonely, just give them a ring, send them a text or knock on their door," said Kate, while William added:"Maybe suggest meeting for a cup of tea or a walk" "Because these small acts of kindness can make a big difference and help us all feel less lonely," Kate added.which offers advice to tackle loneliness and provides NHS-approved tips to help people look after their mental wellbeing.
