The special edition celebrates the final year of the F-Type. Jaguar announced Tuesday that 2023 will be the last year for its current flagship sports car, and that it's launching a special-edition model to commemorate 75 years of Jaguar performance cars.The special edition will be available on both standard V-8 and R models, called the F-Type 75 and the F-Type R 75, respectively, both offered with a fixed or convertible roof.
Output for either V-8 model is unchanged. The standard car makes 444 hp and the R produces 575 hp. F-Type 75s come in rear- or all-wheel-drive spec, while the R is all-wheel-drive-only. The four-cylinder base model sticks around for the F-Type's final model year in other markets, but the 296-hp version won't get any of the special edition goodies. At least it now comes with 20-inch wheels, too, as part of the lineup's final-year simplification.
