The Flash director Andy Muschietti has explained the reason behind the mediocre CGI in some scenes of the DC superhero movie.
Some have criticized the visual effects in the film, particularly in the opening action sequence when The Flash must save a group of babies falling from a window. “The idea, of course, is…we are in the perspective of the Flash,”about the scene. “Everything is distorted in terms of lights and textures. We enter this ‘waterworld’ which is basically being in Barry’s POV.
