The trailer for The Flash season 8, episode 18 reveals the shocking return of a major Arrowverse villain who hasn't appeared on the show for years. Things are starting to come full circle as The Flash season 8 has only a few episodes left to air. Like most seasons of the Arrowverse drama, things usually become more chaotic towards the very end, as Barry Allen and his team tackle their latest villain.

While Iris' time-sickness will be solved, there is still the matter of figuring out who is the newest Big Bad in The Flash season 8. The last threat Team Flash dealt with was Deathstorm, as the Arrowverse show provided a new take on the DC baddie, who first appeared in The Flash season 2. In The Flash season 8, episode 17,"Keep it Dark," Tom Cavanagh's Eobard Thawne, a.k.a. the Reverse-Flash, made his return since the events of Armageddon.

The most interesting aspect of The Flash season 8, episode 18 trailer is the big reveal that this Eobard, from his point of view, hasn't met Barry yet or become the Reverse-Flash. The footage also included the intriguing twist that Eobard is working together with Meena Dhawan, a.k.a. Fast Track. While it may appear in this trailer that Eobard hasn't become the Reverse-Flash yet, it wouldn't be shocking if the character is simply putting on an act.
