12 Season 4: Barry Allen Gets Framed For Murder Best Season 4 came to shake things up for The Flash in a major way. This season was the first of the DC series not to focus on a speedster main villain. Instead, The Flash season 4 used the Thinker to bring a different kind of threat to Central City. Clifford DeVoe, the Thinker, wanted to steal the powers of other meta-humans and bring his Enlightenment to the world.
9 Season 5: Cicada Is The Flash’s Worst Main Villain Worst Season 5 was brought down in large part due to its main villain, Cicada. The Flash season 5 seemed to repeat a never-ending cycle of the heroes beating Cicada, talking around while he was down instead of cuffing him, and the villain then escaping. The repetitiveness of the plot made it clear that Cicada could have been an interesting villain for perhaps a 6-episode arc, not more than that.
5 Season 7: The Final Fight With Godspeed Was Bad Worst The Flash's VFX took a turn for the worse as the seasons went on. That, allied to a confusing creative choice, led to season 7's final fight with Godspeed being awful. Seeing The Flash and Reverse-Flash team up to take down Godspeed should have been exciting; however, the show decided to have the final fight happen by including lightning swords.
