The hugely underrated Barshaw Park in Paisley is easily accessible from the city centre and offers plenty of fun activities to keep dog walkers, young families, groups of friends and couples entertained. This massive park has plenty of space for even the most energetic of kids or dogs busy, with woodland walks, grassy areas and even a walled garden to visit.Whether you enter via the main entrance or the car park end, you'll quickly see how popular it is, with a wonderful café and numerous paths to navigate your way around the park.
Kids will love the huge play park and mini-dirt track while at the weekends you'll even find a bouncy castle on offer and if you are lucky, the mini train track that's run by local volunteers that will see you taken around a track on the park's own mini train.
