The Republican Party is still “very much the party of Trump” despite how much the mainstream media wishes otherwise, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.
Donald Trump is expected to make a much anticipated speech at CPAC on Sunday marking his first major speech since President Joe Biden’s inauguration. Speculation continues to grow around whether former president will announce a political comeback or if he will make way for another candidate in 2024.
Ms Panahi said whoever ends up being the Republican presidential nominee, you can be sure it’s “going to be from the Trump side of the party”. “This is a party that has been forever changed,” she said. “They are not interested in having anymore RINOs running for president and losing, or letting them down if they do get elected.”
