Work meets play in this eclectic home in Collingwood.

Mooney created the aged wall patina in his lounge by scraping back layers of paint. The vintage “Akari” paper lanterns are by Noguchi.“Collingwood, despite its gentrification, still has such a great mix of people,” says Mooney. “I talk to people from all walks of life every day.”“Now I’ve completed the interior renovation, I will open the space for photo shoots and events,” says Mooney. “Also, there is another outdoor area that I’m yet to tackle.”“Don’t buy into trends.
“I sourced the stove, rangehood and kitchen cupboards on Marketplace,” says Mooney. The green “Chub” stool is by Fearon, from Curated Spaces.Artworks by Alexandra Nemaric hang in the kitchen. “I see something new every time I look at these works,” says Mooney. “The detail is insane.”A floor lamp by Lana Launay and room screen by Fold Studio in the “blue room”, painted Post Boy Blues by Dulux.“I’ve been collecting since I was a kid.
