The show promises to be a colorful, bombastic mix of drama, music and actual live wrestling with a cast that includes Tony-nominated actor Ramin Karimloo, TikTok sensation Amber Ardolino, and several actors in current Broadway productions (hence the Monday date, when their shows will be “dark”).
Jeremiah James and Sylvana Joyce teamed up to create "The Last Match: A Pro Wrestling Rock Musical," which will be staged at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on Monday, Sept. 26, with the hope of one day making it to Broadway. Jersey City’s Sylvana Joyce & the Moment has long been renowned for fiery, theatrical performances, so why not bring that energy and talent to a musical? That’s exactly what will transpire at White Eagle Hall on Monday, Sept.
The musical, conceived by Jeremiah James with an original score by Joyce and her band, is being produced in conjunction with the Jersey City Theatre Center. Two performances – at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. - promise a colorful, bombastic mix of drama, music and actual live wrestling with a cast that includes Tony-nominated actor Ramin Karimloo, TikTok sensation Amber Ardolino, and several actors in current Broadway productions .
