In all, four women, two men and a 17-year-old girl - all involved in a Blue Mountains circus training school called The Arcade Circus – were accused of abusing the children between 2014 and 2016. "They were words they didn't even want to use. They couldn't actually grasp… they just felt so disconnected from the allegations that it was really almost incomprehensible for them to be putting voices to those charges.

"But then to be accused of the unthinkable, awful crimes against the most innocent in our community was just something they just could not believe.
