Love Island USA's cliffhangers are overdone.

All season long, the show has left the most intense scenes for the end of the episode and then cut off right when something interesting was about to happen.
Love Island USA fans had to wait until the following episode to learn that Keenan Anunay had gone home and that Vickala "Kay Kay" Gray had self-eliminated for him. While it's a good way to ensure the viewers will come back for more the following night, it's also quite frustrating. Love Island USA season 5 has certainly exhausted its use of cliffhangers.
Love Island USA Season 5's Cliffhangers Are Overused It's one thing for Love Island USA season 5 to use a cliffhanger a few times throughout the season, but there's no need for one every time something intense is happening. In the latest Love Island USA episode, the islanders had their final recoupling of the season. The moment the episode was building up to was who Kassy Castillo and Johnnie Garcia were going to recouple with.
The Love Island USA Cliffhangers Aren't Shocking Anymore Since Love Island USA season 5 has used cliffhangers so much, they aren't shocking anymore. Most of the time, it's easy to predict the outcome of an elimination or recoupling, so the cliffhanger doesn't work anyway.
Also, when Love Island USA shared its preview clip from the following episode, Keenan and Kay Kay were very obviously missing from it. The current situation also seems to have a pretty predictable outcome. Kassy will likely recouple with Leo on Love Island USA because even though she doesn't know if she can trust him, she still has feelings for him and wouldn't want him to be dumped from the island. Needless to say, the cliffhangers are pretty useless.
