Alan Harris has run a series of marathons and half-marathons in his pink tutu and gorilla suit as he prepares for the London Half-Marathon
An East Belfast man has spent the past few years raising thousands for charity by running marathons dressed as a gorilla.
Alan can often be spotted outside of supermarkets and shops across Belfast with his bucket in hand trying to encourage donations from passers by, usually dressed in a variety of different superhero costumes or his gorilla suit. Speaking to Belfast Live, Alan highlighted why he has chosen Tommy's as his charity to support this year saying that it provides invaluble support to parents and families who have lost their babies.
"I was blown away with the support that they provide for families at such a difficult time and felt that it was important to do something to support them so they are able to continue their good work.
