Drew Barrymore was taking part in an event in New York, when she had to be rushed off stage due to an alleged stalking incident. The actress turned talk show host was onstage with actress and singer Reneé Rapp on Monday, 21 August, when a man's voice could he heard shouting her name, to which she replied: "Oh my God, yes, hi!"
Following the alleged stalker's removal from the event, Reneé and Drew returned to the stage, as Drew told her fellow actress: "Well, I have a new definition of your sexiness, it’s that level of protectiveness. That went full ‘Bodyguard'". Drew is believed to have been away from home at the time. The publication has also obtained numerous police reports for an individual of the same name, showing previous arrests for criminal trespass, resisting arrest, indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, theft, harassment - all of which took place across numerous states between 1999 and 2022.
