A fan of the ‘90s sitcom The Nanny has perfectly recreated 13 of Fran Drescher’s iconic outfits. The Nanny ran for six seasons between 1993-1999, starring Drescher as Fran Fine, who was working in a bridal shop in Flushing Queens before getting dumped by her boyfriend, Danny Imperiali. Fran then becomes The Nanny to Mr. Sheffield’s three children, Maggie, Brighton, and Grace, and eventually marries her boss.
Some of her fashion choices aren’t as popular today as they were 20+ years ago, but rewatching The Nanny and seeing some of Fran’s very ‘90s outfits only adds to the charm of the show. It’s also impressive that Cortez was able to recreate the outfits so closely since many of the clothes Drescher wore aren’t readily available anymore and were likely hard to find or recreate with a modern wardrobe. That being said, these TikToks just go to show how dedicated some fans are to their favorite series.
