One of spring’s most beautiful sights is when lawns are transformed with golden carpets of daffodils. Flowering from February until May, these much-loved golden flowers can be found in woodlands, gardens and parks.
From the grounds of Tudor halls to beautiful walled gardens, these golden flowers can be spotted all over. Locally Quarry Bank and Dunham Massey have some incredible displays at this time of yearAt Quarry Bank, one of Britain's greatest industrial heritage sites, you can spot daffodils in the 400-acre estate which surrounds the River Bollin. Meanwhile the gardens of Dunham Massey come alive with iconic yellow flowers at this time of year.
