Demo shows a 300W charger topping up Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12+ Pro in just under five minutes
Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has demonstrated a phone that can be fully charged in only five minutes.
The demonstration shows how fears over phone battery life could soon become a thing of the past, with the ability to fully replenish a phone’s battery in short order.The most encouraging thing about the Xiaomi demo, timed to coincide with the Mobile World Congress show taking place this week in Barcelona, is that it’s using existing hardware, not demo handsets.
