Valentine's Day is on its way and with many struggling to find a way to impress their loved ones, a wee romantic escape could be in order.
Holiday specialists Parkdean Resorts looked at the UK locations that are sure to get hearts racing and romance blossoming for couples, and the historic seaside town, Wemyss Bay, really stood out.Lying on the west coast about equidistant to both Gourock to the north and Largs to the south, the picturesque area is one many Glaswegians will know but perhaps never have visited.
Pose for photos together under the glass roof of the beautiful Wemyss Bay Station before heading for a wander down the Victorian pier, with both having restored to their original glory in the early 1990s.
