, the Proud Boys attending the city council meeting called the LGBTQ community “pedophiles” and suggested that parents who brought their children be taken outside and beaten up.

By wearing the Buc-ee’s brand, the Texas convenience store chain “appears to be the latest victim of ‘hatejacking,’ when an extremist group adopts a popular brand to advance its agenda,” according to Texas Monthly. British streetwear brand Fred Perry has struggled to disassociate itself from the Proud Boys after the group co-opted its brand.
