in an 11-0 win over the Athletics. He needed just 99 pitches to do it — 72 of them strikes — and struck out nine along the way. It’s the first perfect game in 11 years, since Felix Hernandez did it in 2012. And it comes just one start after Germán allowed 10 runs against the Mariners in 3.1 innings.. Additionally, as they note, before last night Germán “may have been most known across baseball for getting suspended a total of 81 games for violating the league’s domestic violence policy.”We got to see Connor Bedard put on a Chicago Blackhawks jersey.
The three prospects have been grouped together as the elite-but-not-Bedard class. Carlsson over Fantilli at No. 2 was a slight surprise, but Ducks general manager Pat Verbeek said the team liked Carlsson’s upside. Also, the Ducks won with He’s under contract with a Russian team until 2025-26, though his comments after the draft indicate he could come over sooner. New Flyers general manager Danny Brière said Michkov is special enough to wait for.
