The race between Liberal MP Tim Wilson and teal independent Zoe Daniel remains one of the hottest contests of the federal election

I believe there’s two major parties and that’s how the system works best in Australia.”Goldstein has voted conservative since Federation. Ms Daniel would be the first female MP for the seat named for suffragist and feminist campaigner Vida Jane Goldstein.
YouGov polling published last week found Mr Wilson’s primary vote had fallen to 40 per cent, giving Ms Daniel a 52-48 lead, on a two-party preferred basis.
