The Record Sport top team tackle the big issues of the week including Scotland jutters and both title races.
Brendan Rodgers will be in the dugout at Ibrox but does his SFA punishment fit the crime? MICHAEL GANNON: It was the best Rodgers could have hoped for within the rules but the rules are daft. Fair enough, managers shouldn’t question the integrity of officials, but their competence? The truth should set you free.
FRASER WILSON: It does seem a little convenient but there is a precedent - Peter Houston got the exact same for a ref rant in 2015. However Steve Clarke got three games with one suspended for a similar offence while at Killie. In Rodgers’ defence he isn’t a regular offender and was only saying what most of us were thinking.
Should Scotland fans be worried about Euro 2024 after the double friendly defeat in the last week? MICHAEL: Maybe mild concern. Steve Clarke needs to shore up the backline like before but the lack of pace and width is something he’s learned to live with.
