A new article by The Times has named seven of the best Easter days out in the UK, and among the attractions included is a rural Scottish farm that offers lamb-feeding experiences.
With the Easter holiday just around the corner, people across Scotland and beyond will be starting to think about how best to make the most of the time off. There is a seemingly endless list of things you can get up to around the country with your loved ones, from picturesque hikes to wildlife-spotting expeditions.
Meanwhile, the farm also offers Highland cow experiences that let guests get "up close and personal with one of Scotland's most iconic and beloved creatures". Visitors are able to choose between either a farmer-led trailer tour out into the fields to meet the cows or a self-guided walking safari. This week's top Scotland Now stories "Visitors can stop by in any season for a taste of their idyllic lives — there are the Highland cows to see and trails to follow — but the estate really comes into its own over lambing season, from March until May. Add the lambing experience to your day ticket and you can pet and bottle-feed the baby sheep."
