I don’t like getting credit or feel pleased with myself for something that I didn’t work for. So the first couple seasons ofany praise I got for it, I dismissed because I was like, Well, I’m just doing what I do, which is be charming and flirtatious, so I can’t really take credit for that. After working on it, it actually became something interesting and fruitful for me. Acting can be so. Like, there’s so much waiting and repetition.
