NRL: The NRL 360 panel attempt to prdict which of the remaining five eligible teams will take out the eigth spot in the finals.

NRL 2024: Round 26 team lists , teams talking points , ins and outs, opinion, Storm rest 11, Grant Anderson halfback, Payne Haas , Nicho Hynes, Panthers make big halves call , rugby league news We knew that Melbourne would rest a raft of stars this week given the minor premiership is theirs, but a look at the Storm’s team list still makes for very interesting reading.

Jahrome Hughes, Harry Grant, Eli Katoa, Jack Howarth, Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Shawn Blore, Tui Kamikamica and Will Warbrick have not been named and instead will get a well-deserved rest ahead of finals. Meanwhile, Josh King, Trent Loiero and Nick Meaney have been named in the reserves but are highly unlikely to play.

It’s probably safe to assume Anderson’s halves partner, Queensland and Kangaroos representative Cameron Munster will be steering the ship. Lisati will make his debut after joining the Storm mid-season from the Panthers. The 23-year-old had such an impressive pre-season that he was in the mix to replace Spencer Leniu on Penrith’s bench this year.

Powell, a prop, has played 52 Queensland Cup games, including 15 this season where he’s been averaging 110 metres and 24 tackles a game.PANTHERS WELCOME BACK TWO AMID BIG HALVES CALL Schneider gets another chance, but this is just a temporary fix with Cleary likely set for a return ahead of the finals period.Cleary axed both Laurie and Casey McLean from the backline this week, replacing them with Paul Alamoti and Sunia Turuva.

That pairing has been replaced by two players many would have considered locks to be in the side come finals time mid-season. The Sharks are flying at the moment, with unlikely heroes Dan Atkinson and Braydon Trindall starring in the halves. With the Sharks in terrific form at the moment, it makes you wonder whether they should ride the hot hand until there is a hiccup.

A win over the Dolphins is vital for their top eight chances, however their opponents will be just as desperate. The backline was settled… until the emergence of young Lehi Hopoate, who has been a revelation since making his NRL debut in Round 12.
