On a busy trade deadline day across the NBA, the Spurs added to their growing war chest of draft picks with the trade of veteran guard Josh Richardson to New Orleans.

Richardson was the Spurs' highest-scoring bench player this season at 11.9 points per game. He had been starting at guard with injuries to Devin Vassell and Romeo Langford.The 6-foot-1 Graham averaged 5.3 points in 53 games off the bench for New Orleans this season. Before that, Graham had been a double-figure scorer in three consecutive seasons, with a high of 18.2 points per game for Charlotte in 2019-20.
