The moment of truth has arrived for Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari. With Formula One pre-season testing now done and dusted, all indications are that the Italian team should be starting favourite to secure its first world title since 2007.
As well as setting the fastest time in Barcelona over the last fortnight, Ferrari’s new recruit Charles Leclerc admitted they are “not flat out yet,” an ominous sign that there’s more to come when the teams arrive in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix next week. “At some stages in previous years I think here and there we did our things and maybe we didn’t put things 100 percent together. So, there’s always room for improvement.
“Obviously, during the year you have a huge group of people all working towards the championships, but if you're not looking like winning the world championship, out of worry you might pull some of the team off earlier,” he said.
