Arjun Tendulkar, the 23-year-old son of Indian legend Sachin, opens the bowling in his first Indian Premier League match with the Mumbai Indians.
abc.net.au/news/sachin-tendulkar-son-makes-ipl-debut-for-mumbai-indians/102230298The son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has made debut in the Indian Premier League with his dad's old team, the Mumbai Indians.
Tendulkar has played a handful of top-flight matches in India and England, scoring a century and taking three wickets in his first-class debut with Goa in December. His second ball saw Rahmanullah Gurbaz just manage to clear Tim David at mid-on after he toe-ended a full ball, and the fourth was a close LBW call on Narayan Jagadeesan that ball tracking showed would have bounced over the stumps.Tendulkar only bowled the two overs, the first and third of the match, and finished with 0-17.
