John Carpenter has recently teased the possibility of The Thing 2, which would serve as the follow-up to 1982's Kurt Ruselll-led movie.

When it made its theatrical debut in 1982, the film garnered negative reviews with domestic gross of over $19 million against a reported budget of $15 million.
