The Trailer for “Moonshot” Starring Lana Condor and Cole Sprouse Just Landed
, a new futuristic romantic comedy from WarnerMedia. In want of reconnecting with their significant others, the two 20-something college students board a space shuttle to Mars, which — set in this near-future setting — is now colonized by humans.
In the first trailer for the film, which dropped today, viewers received their first look into Sophie and Walt’s cosmic love story. The approximately 3-minute clip opens with a scene of the twosome in a coffee shop on Earth, where Sophie shares the struggles of long-distance dating her Mars-based boyfriend — and in an effort to save her relationship, reveals that she’s signed up for the Mars program.
At the very last minute, Walt — desperate to not let Sophie be the one who got away — sneaks onto the space shuttle that she is on. The remainder of the trailer teases their reunion on board and how their connection evolves as time goes on.
