Recent wet weather wiping out crops, global supply chain issues, and the prices of fuel and fertiliser have led to a vegetable crisis in Australia.Pig surfaces for air before diving down to eat the lettuce.For Pig the dugong, this means his diet of 30 kilograms of lettuce a day is costing the aquarium a bucket load.At the start of the year, the aquarium was spending $7200 a month on lettuce but in June they spent $18,000.
