'The View' star Ana Navarro silenced Alyssa Farah Griffin by raising one finger to shush her on the live broadcast.
The moment happened after Navarro said she'd rather read Mitt Romney's book than Jada Pinkett Smith's new memoir.Entertainment Weekly's Oscars expert, 'RuPaul's Drag Race' beat reporter, host of 'Quick Drag' Twitter Spaces, and cohost of 'EW's BINGE' podcast. Almost all of the drag content on this site is my fault .
Navarro kicked off Monday's episode of the talk show by settling into her signature, fully unbothered groove, making it clear to conservative cohost"I'm done with the Jada thing, and I'm done defending Will because Will is out there supporting her. I think Will is being held emotionally prisoner. I don't want to read the book, I don't want to give them another dime for her emasculating and embarrassing him to everybody in the world.
"But, how is this different than a lot of the... we criticized the Trump books..." Griffin said, again speaking over Navarro, who promptly put her left pointer finger up without moving her eyes from her note cards, leading Griffin to smirk and say, "Okay" before settling back into her chair."Why wait until the end when you're retiring to say all of this? It's a criticism of a lot of the Trump memoir.
