An IT specialist from Wollongong has combined his love of technology and building things to create interactive Christmas lights you control with a QR code.
Nick Triantafillou has built a Christmas light display on his house using about 65,000 LED lightsThe custom display took six months to build
Featuring about 65,000 LED lights and a soundtrack, Mr Triantafillou's display comes with the added bonus that you can control what you see and hear. People can also select Christmas favourites like Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You, Let It Snow, and It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.People gather out the front of Nick Triantafillou's Wollongong home to watch his Christmas light display.The songs have a coordinated light display which he has either purchased, sourced, or created himself.
"It's just fun and it's the perfect intersection of my love for technology and building stuff," he said.
