Line up revealed!
A music festival self-styled as the 'weirdest, wildest and most joyous party in the UK' returns to Lancashire.
Pendulum and Alison Goldfrapp will headline summer music festival Beat-Herder in the Ribble Valley. Taking place from Thursday, July 13 to Sunday, July 16 at Dockber Farm near Sawley,Clitheroe, the wacky event will see a host of live performances across a weekend "haven of hedonistic joy". There will be 20 stages hosting DJs, live acts, comedians and surprise shows. The festival first launched in 2006 and is known for its eclectic mix of reggae, dubstep, techno, house, drum and bass, folk, psychedelic rock and indie music.Other acts on the line-up include DJ Wilkinson, Dub Pistols, Confidence Man and Peter Hook & The Light.
Ticket packages starting at £188 for three days are on sale now and include camping, with a payment plan option available. There will also be a dedicated glamping field at an additional cost. Festival-goers are permitted to bring in a limited amount of their own booze, but organisers promise to offer "the cheapest and best booze on the festival calendar" in the onsite bars if they run out. They also tease that they will reveal the highly-anticipated 2023 fancy dress theme "soon".
